Back of block contains the following information: "Built: 1969 Name (sic) For: Marie Marwick and Margaret Boyd were professors of English, drama and speech between 1929 and 1956. In their memory, the Marwick-Boyd Fine Arts Center was named, housing two theatres, classroom space, exhibit space for artworks and shop locations for the Theatre Department. In 1997, a massive renovation took place to prepare the auditorium for the new millennium"
