" . . . a group of citizens and educators have formed a Math-Science Education Collaborative for the North Central Region of Pennsylvania. The purpose of the collaborative is to improve the mathematics, science and technology skills and learning opportunities for students in the region. The collaborative is committed to locating resources and supporting efforts by local school districts, colleges, universities, businesses, parents, governmental agencies and community leaders to expand opportunities in the [sic] math and sciences."
