Scope and Contents

The files and records in this sub-series were specifically kept by the library administrative office and transferred to the archives. [Additional records regarding the renovation of Carlson Library are available in Record Group (RG) 550.] The administrative records have been kept in the order and organization that they were kept by the department secretary.

Also, although this sub-series deals specifically with library renovation records, much information related to the library renovation is also housed in the "General Administrative Office Files" sub-series. Many of these general office files were created at the same time as the subsequent renovation, so some overlap occurs. Many files are in reference to decision-making processes related to the layout and planning of the new building.
