Scope and Contents
These materials were found among Neiman's papers in a folder labeled, "Essays - Artists."
Folder contains a hand-written letter from an unknown author (cannot make out the signature line,) postmarked 1946-04-03. Neiman's address listed as Anderson Creek, Big Sur, California. Return address listed as 320 Hawthorne, Monterey. The letter is from an artist thanking Neiman for something that he wrote about his/her paintings.
Folder contains three essays:
1. Errant Hero of Errors, by Gilbert Neiman - (about Emil White)
2. Zeal Ends Vertical (author unknown)
3. The Sculptor of the Fog (author unknown) - about Man Ray
