Most of the correspondence in this folder is between Gilbert Neiman and Ronald C. Bauer, who was the president of Inter-American University of Puerto Rico at that time that Neiman was employed there.

Bauer's appointment letter to Neiman is dated 1958-06-04, and it lists Neiman's appointment date as August 18, 1958.

Neiman's letter of resignation in the file is dated 1962-09-26

Also found in this folder is a page of minutes of a meeting of the Committee on "Between Worlds," a journal for which Neiman served as editor. There is also a transcript of president Ronald C. Bauer's welcome speech to the Subcommittee on Interior and Insular Affairs of the U.S. House of Representatives dated 1959-12-09. Neiman's sabbatical leave application and his report on a half year's sabbatical (9 pages) is also included.
