An accompanying memo from John McLain, dated March 17, 1972, provides additional insight into the publication.  The memo states, in part:  "We are in the process now of conducting a one-day worship in each of six regions of the State for interested school administrators, providing background information on the "all-year school movement."  Following this, we are conducting a Statewide meeting April 30-May 2, 1972 to discuss the processes of conducting feasibility studies on year-round education.  Our office has prepared a leadership training manual for the regional workshops.  The EDCs of the other colleges are cooperating with us in conducting them."
