Description of the organzation found online 2-12-2021:

Clarion University is home to Clarion University of Pennsylvania Chapter of Student Affiliates of American Chemical Society, also known as ACS or chemistry club. Our objectives, as a student affiliate chapter, are 1) to raise awareness among students for chemical sciences, 2) to aid the study and application of chemistry, 3) to provide support from fellow organization members, faculty and staff, and 4) to allow opportunities for professional development. The objectives are achieved by community services, events/activities, and peer tutoring. Although our organization has the word “chemical” in the name, ALL majors are welcome to join!
