What do we do?

The Leadership and Excellence Club of Clarion University of Pennsylvania (CUP) promotes leadership development which prepares CUP men and women to serve the nation or the commonwealth either in or out of uniform. To accomplish this, the Leadership and Excellence Club of CUP:

Develops leadership and management skills by providing opportunities to utilize these skills in a variety of practical applications

Provides an understanding of how to lead and influence small organizations, with a strong emphasis on personal integrity, ethical decision making, goal setting, and mission accomplishment.

Offers adventure training, such as rappelling, land-navigation, marksmanship, hiking, canoeing, camping, and many more.

Provides programs and experiences which increase self confidence, self discipline, physical stamina, poise, and other attributes essential to the development of a leader of character.

Who Can Join?

All students and faculty of Clarion University of Pennsylvania can join the Leadership and Excellence Club of CUP. It is highly encouraged for Cadets and CUP Students enrolled in Military Science Classes.
