Description of the organization found online 11-9-2021:

This organization was founded to give fellowship and unite Sociology majors and those with an interest in the sociological field. Sociology Club of Clarion University will give participants a chance to improve their personal and professional career through discussion on current and prevalent social issues in campus society and beyond. The organization will attempt to give Sociology majors and those with an interest in the sociological field a chance to attend professional meetings offered in the sociology field. Providing chances for professional contacts with other collegiate clubs and workers in the field will be another goal. Sociology Club of Clarion University can also serve as a resource for academic support and guidance among peers to develop towards career goals. Sociology Club of Clarion University also encourages members to be active in community service and philanthropy.
