Description of the organization found online 11-9-2021:

This organization will be used to gain a group of volunteers that will work in partner with the Clarion County Special Olympics. Clarion County is in need of volunteers to support their program and the University student body can provide that and more. As a volunteer, there are so many benefits. Volunteers can be coaches or assistant coaches. As a volunteer, we can promote the athletes at their events. Volunteers are also in charge of creating social events for the athletes to participate in. Volunteers become these athletes’ best friends and role models. People will want to join because of this aspect of the Special Olympics.

The primary focus of this club is to assist the Clarion County Special Olympics in gaining more volunteers to build a stronger program in Clarion County.

In addition, Clarion University will become a partner with the Special Olympics, which is a world-wide opportunity.
