Description of the organization found online 11-15-2021:

The purpose of the Venango Veterans Club organization is to promote, educate and encourage social activities of those Venango Campus students and their families that are currently in the armed services or who have been discharged from military service. Membership is for all currently enrolled students of Clarion University’s Venango Campus provided they are currently in a recognized Armed Service/Reserves or National Guard Unit OR have been discharged under favorable conditions. Spouses and/or children of Veterans that are also enrolled as students are eligible for membership as they have a veterans connection . The club operates under a committee format with the following as recognized: Social (Dinners, fundraisers and meetings for family, guests and its membership), Recruitment (Contact and enroll members for the club), Outreach (Veteran programs and education which benefit the club’s members), Community (Project oriented for promotion of campus, community and overseas assistance to those serving in the military).
