Description:
n mental health, GAD is one of the mental health conditions that is poorly diagnosed. This project provided an analysis on whether consistent GAD-7 screening and structured follow-up for all patients with GAD 7 score of 10 and above on screening tools will improve outcomes of about 90% compared to the collected patient's data before and after implementation of screening tools within a period of three months. The method used in this project was The Iowa Model which is a comparative quantitative design. Data was collected from baseline patients three months before implementation of the screening tool and three months after; a comparison was done after successful structured follow-up. The follow-up entailed clinical review, referrals to counselors and monitoring progress.
