This extensive bibliography contains references to the published monographs, book chapters, untitled book sections, and periodical articles that were originally part of Crawford’s collection.

For those materials that Crawford had originally kept within a labeled folder in his collection, a notation is included indicating the title of said folder. This helps to provide context regarding the purpose for which Crawford had collected many of the materials.

Some of the publications collected by Crawford are so unique that they would be difficult for a researcher to obtain through libraries. For others, the source is impossible to discern. They have therefore been retained as part of this collection. Crawford had many of these publications arranged in labeled folders. Crawford’s folder headings have been retained, when available.

Scope and Contents The "Corral Fellowship" is affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, TX. The subseries contains a "Corral" directory, published in 2000, that lists former members. Crawford is listed in the directory as having attended Corral from Spring 1954 – October 1955. The bulk of this subseries is a collection of Corral Fellowship newsletters, titled the "Corral Fencepost," dated 1952 – 1956. As explained in the "Introduction" section of this guide, most of the published materials in Crawford’s collections were not retained. However, some were retained in "Subseries 1, subseries 2," and others in this subseries. This subseries contains publications that contain hand-written annotations and/or other markings presumably made by Crawford. Crawford had many of these publications arranged in labeled folders. Crawford’s folder headings have been retained, when available.

Scope and Contents This subseries includes papers authored by Crawford along with any identifiable associated research notes. Writings include research papers that he submitted for courses he took, as well as several drafts and final copies of his publication, "The Scots and the American Revolution: A Reappraisal."
