When Marilyn Stempeck transferred this manual to the archives, she included a note pointing out that it describes the organization of Carlson Library's Technical Services department, and provides brief information about when the OCLC terminals were first acquired. The manual was originally written by Judy Proper in April 1971, and is labled as revised in August 1972, September 1973, and March 1977. Some later updates were also found in the manual.
