According to Clarion University undergraduate course catalog data, Margery Johnson was a faculty member from 1957 to 1981 in the University Libraries, and in the campus laboratory school. She earned her B.S. and M.L.S. degrees from Clarion University of PA. She did additional graduate work at Pennsylvania State University and Florida Atlantic University. She also attended Geneva College.
