According to data from the Clarion course catalogs, Elbert R. Moses, Jr. was a faculty member at Clarion from 1959-1971 in the departments of Speech and Dramatic Arts.  He earned an A.B. from the University of PIttsburgh, an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and did additional graduate work at Eastern Illinois State University and Northwestern University School of Speech.

According to Clarion University undergraduate catalog data, Joyce Overly was a professor in the Chemistry department beginning in 1998.  She earned her B.S. Ed. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University.

According to data from the Clarion University undergraduate course catalogs, Greta Lagro Potter was a professor of Library Science and Social Studies at Clarion University from 1939 until 1942.  She earned a B.A. from the University of Minnesota; a B.S. and M.S. from Columbia University; and completed additional graduate work at the University of Chicago.
