According to university undergraduate catalog data, Dana Still was employed at Clarion from 1948 until 1983 as a professor of English, Humanities, and Liberal Arts, and later as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. He earned a B.S. and M.A. from Ohio State University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
