A page in the back quarter of that book, dated March 28, 1914, states "The within is a correct copy of the original subscriptions for stock for the establishing of the Clarion State Normal School." The item in which this is found is titled, "Abstract of Title of Lands of the Clarion State Normal School, Clarion Borough, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, Containing 22.2 Acres, More or Less."
