According to Clarion University undergraduate catalog data, Frank Vento was a professor in the Geography/Earth Science/Anthropology department beginning in 1986. He earned his A.S. from the Community College of Allegheny County. He earned two M.S. degrees, and his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
