The article introduction provides this information about John McLain: "Dr. McLain is director of the Research-Learning Center at Clarion State College, Clarion, Pennsylvania and chairman of the Pennsylvania State Committee on Year-Round Education. He directed the National Seminar on Year-Round Education in April, 1970 and is in the process of developing a research demonstration model of the Flexible All-Year School."
