    The 1919 flyer advertises the "spring term."

    The 1923 flyer announces the summer term June 18-August 17, 1923.

    The ca. 1924 brochure contains a list of the faculty and other employees; a poem titled "the purple and the gold," photographs of campus buildings, student activities, and community views; a list of the courses of study; a list of extracurricular activities; an outline of faculty standards; a description of the grounds and buildings; suggestions to prospective students; brief campus statistical information ca. 1924; and expense information for the 1924-1925 academic year.

    The 1925 brochure is titled, "For Attending the Clarion State Normal School." It lists 30 "reasons" to attend the school. Each page is dedicated to one reason, and each reason is a person; a profile of a Normal School faculty member or dean. A photograph is provided of each person. The individuals profiled in the brochure are: Willis Y. Welch; J.W.F. Wilkinson; Bertha Virginia Nair; Cyrus A. Middleswarth; James R. Huston; Nancy E. Canan; Charles F. Becker; Amabel Lee Ralston; Dorothy Edgar; Morton Frost Jones; Ralph Mitterling; Ruth Pope Turner; Mary Armstrong Ayres; Elizabeth F. Keithan; Margaret C. Robins; Effie Blanche Hepler; Evelyn J.     The 1938 brochure provides photographs of various student groups and activities, and advertises the June 20-July 30th, 1938 summer session.

    The 1962-1963 brochure is marked as an issue of, or perhaps a supplement to "The Clarion" vol. LI, Number 3. The brochure discusses program offerings, living accommodations, "speed-up program", and costs/fees.

    The ca. 1980-1989 brochure highlights the accomplishments of some of Clarion's faculty members: Alfred Charley, Rex Mitchell, Givens Thornton, Roger Hufford, Bernard Vavrek, Ken Mechling, Dilara Nikoulin, Mart Hardwick, Ahmad Gamaluddin, Ed Grejda, Steve Gendler, William Fulmer, Frank Takei, Harold Hartley, Joseph Grunenwald, Stanley Michalski, Robert Bubb, Ernest Aharrah, John Smith, James Holden, Susan Williams, Allan Larson, Gustav Konitzky, and Paul Beck. In a closing letter, university alumnus LeRoy Kline recommends Clarion University to prospective students and their parents.

    The ca. 2009 general brochure advertises and communicates the merits of Clarion University to potential students. Contains a listing of all available degree programs, minors and concentrations on page 14. Answers very general questions of potential students, including, "Where Will I Live?", "Where Will I Eat?", and "What Will I Do?" This brochure was designed to be very general. It does not go into a great deal of detail, and intentionally does not overwhelm potential students with too much information.

    The ca. 2013 brochure is titled, "Why Clarion?"

    The 2014 brochure provides a general overview of Clarion's areas of study, degree programs, and student life.

    The ca. 2016 brochure is 22 pages in length and is organized into four main sections: Description of available academic programs (pages 3-14); Campus Life (pages 15-16); Student Opportunity (pages 17-20); and admission/application information (pages 21-22).

    The ca. 2019 brochure is a tri-fold document that publicizes recently attained Clarion University awards, distinctions, and accomplishments such as: ranked in the top 5 online colleges in Pennsylvania by onlinecolleges.com; more than $5 million in scholarships awarded last year; ranked in the top 150 regional colleges in the Northeast by US News and World Report; 57,418 alumni worldwide (36,691 in Pennsylvania); 88% of graduates are employed within nine months of graduation; more than 50% of athletes are scholar athletes (GPA of 3.2 or higher); top 5 best Pennsylvania universities for military by Military Times in 2018; 2018-2019 Fulbright Scholars, two faculty (the most in PASSHe) one student (one of two PASSHE schools with a Fulbright student); Pet friendly housing plus nine other living learning communities; ranked #1 most affordable by Best Value Schools, B.S.B.A. in real estate; ranked in the top 25 online English degrees in the nation by collegechoice.net; ranked in the top 50 in the country by US News and World Report for Master of Science in Nursing five consecutive years; 175+ academic degree programs; ranked among the best in the world by US News and World Report for Bachelors Business (Non MBA) Education (Grad) MBA and Nursing (Grad).

    The ca. 2020 brochure has a cut-out eagle face for the front cover. It contains brief statistics related to the university, information about the community and surrounding area; information about housing, dining, student life, athletics, and majors and minors.
