Description of the organization found online 2-18-2021:
We are forming this organization to promote recycling habits and awareness for sustainability in the Clarion Area. The benefit of the club is to help create recycling programs and activities for Clarion area schools, university, and community.
Some of our ideas for the club are awareness projects on why recycling matters, reducing plastic and food waste within the university dining and dorms, community projects to involve the neighboring school districts and try to integrate sustainable habits and practices.
The organization will consist of Clarion University students and try to branch out to the community members and schools to work together on the goals.
